About the role

  • Develop and present sales proposals, including pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities while maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual product line reviews.
  • Research market trends and competitor activities to enhance sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure optimal inventory management and fulfillment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address any issues that may arise.
  • Work proactively on product development to meet specific customer needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of sales experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or perishable goods.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience in wholesale, mass market, or garden centers preferred.
  • Existing cut floral/Christmas floral customer base is a plus.
