About the role
- Develop and present sales proposals, including pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities while maintaining existing client relationships.
- Conduct in-person and virtual product line reviews.
- Research market trends and competitor activities to enhance sales strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure optimal inventory management and fulfillment.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any issues that may arise.
- Work proactively on product development to meet specific customer needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of sales experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or perishable goods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Experience in wholesale, mass market, or garden centers preferred.
- Existing cut floral/Christmas floral customer base is a plus.
