About the role

  • A mix of 0 to 1 product development, and solving user problems in established parts of our products
  • Design Excellence: Own the end-to-end design process, from user research and ideation to prototyping and final execution
  • User-Centered Focus: Leverage user research, analytics, and feedback to inform design decisions, ensuring a seamless user journey from discovery to engagement.
  • Rapid Iteration: Work within a Lean UX environment to quickly prototype, test and refine ideas in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineers, product managers, researchers and other designers to align on priorities, functionality, and user needs.
  • Communicate Effectively: Present design solutions clearly to stakeholders at all levels, both technical and non-technical, articulating the 'why' behind your design decisions.
  • Rapid prototyping: Create fast prototypes using a variety of tools to validate hypotheses or evolve design or content
  • Systems thinking: Tackle systems-level problems with numerous interconnected constraints.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of advancements in the industry, data visualization, and product analytics to ensure our solutions remain innovative and competitive.

Requirements

  • Extensive Product Design Experience: A minimum of 8 years in product design, with experience of complex or enterprise-level software, is essential.
  • Portfolio: A compelling portfolio showcasing sophisticated UX solutions, information architecture, and design for developer tools, SaaS, or enterprise products.
  • Problem-Solving: Deep understanding of user problems and the ability to propose creative, practical solutions.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and visual communication skills to effectively share design concepts with diverse audiences.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work across multiple time zones and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • User-Centered Design Proficiency: Strong skills in end-to-end design, with the ability to translate complex technical flows into simple, intuitive user experiences.
  • Collaboration Skills: Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to advocate for user experience and align design solutions with business objectives. Working collaboratively with product people to balance user needs and business benefit, and to iteratively deliver work.
  • Proficiency with Design Tools: Advanced proficiency in design tools such as Figma and other relevant software to create high-quality design artifacts.
  • Analytical and Research Abilities: Ability to utilize user research, data analytics, and success metrics to inform design decisions and ensure solutions deliver customer value.
  • Rapid prototyping: Ability to prototype and iterate to make interactions easy to use, content easy to understand and to validate user experiences before development, with tools such as Figma Make and Lovable.
  • Personalization and Recommendations: Experience of designing experiences that adapt dynamically based on user behavior, such as personalized product recommendations or dynamic content delivery.
  • Data Analytics and Visualization: Experience of designing intuitive dashboards and data visualizations that help users make data-informed decisions.
  • Data experience: Expertise in designing systems for systems process and interpret data, enabling products such as: assistants or co-pilots / sentiment analysis tools for customer feedback / summaries of complex data to support users to make decisions or take action / diagnostics personalisation or recommendation systems / predictive analytics / data visualizations / anomaly detection / products that operate on large data models.
  • Collaboration with Engineers and Data Scientists: Bridging the gap between design and technical teams by translating abstract concepts into functional, user-friendly designs. Ability to work with rich data sets, and have enough technical context or knowledge to collaborate effectively with technical partners.
