Director

• Develop and steward a multi-year research and evaluation agenda aligned with CDI’s theories of change and organizational goals.
• Design and oversee studies that assess program effectiveness, participant learning, and institutional impact.
• Lead thought leadership research that explores emerging questions in higher education, civic discourse, and culture change—positioning CDI as a trusted voice in the field.
• Integrate insights from multiple methodologies—quantitative, qualitative, UX, and behavioral science—to tell a coherent story about CDI’s impact and the broader ecosystem in which we work.
• Ensure that research priorities reflect both internal learning needs and external opportunities to advance public understanding.
• Work closely with the Chief Impact Officer and leadership team to translate research insights into organizational strategy.
• Partner with program, partnerships, and communications teams to make findings accessible to campus partners, funders, and the public.
• Serve as a spokesperson for CDI’s research, contributing to external reports, articles, panels, and convenings that advance dialogue and culture change in higher education.
• Supervise a cross-disciplinary research team, spanning junior to senior contributors with expertise in quantitative and qualitative methods.
• Provide mentorship, performance feedback, and professional development that supports each team member’s growth and accountability.
• Cultivate a collaborative, psychologically safe team culture grounded in curiosity, clarity, and follow-through.
• Strengthen research operations, including data management, documentation, dashboards, and internal reporting workflows.
• Establish standards for study design, analysis, and dissemination to promote consistency and rigor across projects.

Senior Director of Research and Evaluation

Recruitment

• Review and process candidate applications using established screening criteria
• Attend weekly calibration meetings with hiring teams to ensure consistency and alignment
• Take concise notes during candidate debriefs and hiring discussions
• Prepare and organize recruiting materials, including documentation, scoring rubrics, and other assets
• Collaborate closely with the Operations team to keep hiring processes efficient and well-documented

• Build and manage a high-quality partnership pipeline using HubSpot to track engagement, monitor deal progression, and analyze conversion metrics, generating insights that inform forecasting and strategy
• Lead an outreach and demand generation strategy in collaboration with Demand Generation Marketing and the VP of Growth, including lead scoring, segmentation, and account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns that deepen engagement with target institutions
• Track performance toward CDI’s earned-revenue goals, analyzing HubSpot data to surface insights that inform forecasting, strategy, and team decision-making
• Refine and operationalize partnership systems and protocols, including contracting, outreach workflows, and collateral development, to support efficiency and consistency across the partnerships function
• Collaborate closely with the Program Implementation team to ensure smooth handoffs, assess partner readiness, and identify opportunities for renewal or expansion within existing partnerships
• Represent CDI externally as a compelling spokesperson at conferences and convenings, engaging institutional leaders and decision-makers to elevate awareness and generate new partnership opportunities.

Senior Director of Partnerships

Performance Marketing

• Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, you will own our marketing funnel by leading paid campaigns, building email nurture programs, and optimizing CRM to drive measurable pipeline.
• This is a hands-on builder role where you will transform CDI’s existing activities, such as newsletters, webinars, conferences, and early paid/organic efforts, into a coordinated, data-driven system that generates leads and equips our Partnerships team with high-quality opportunities.
• You will oversee agency support across content, web, and paid social, while directly leading CDI’s lifecycle and email marketing campaigns.
• Over time, you will help expand CDI’s digital strategy with the opportunity to grow into managing future specialists, contractors, or staff.
• Responsibilities / Outcomes (First 12–18 Months) Success in this role will be measured by growth in qualified opportunities generated from marketing. In the first 3–6 months, you will establish clear measurement capabilities and dashboards for key funnel metrics, ensuring CDI can track impact and refine strategy.

• Serve as the Executive Director’s technical thought partner, shaping how and what we build in alignment with our overall product strategy.
• Stay current on trends and emerging technologies in EdTech, AI, and related fields to inform product strategy and innovation.
• Lead our technical strategy to ensure scalability, stability, security, accessibility, and responsible AI integration across all products.
• Translate product priorities into a clear, actionable technical roadmap.

Director of Product

• CDI seeks a Product Lead to drive vision, roadmap, and execution of our e-learning platform.
• Own the technical vision, strategy, and execution; develop product roadmap; ensure scalability, security, and accessibility.
• While initial focus will be Perspectives, you’ll also drive technical innovation across CDI’s full suite of offerings, using emerging technologies (including AI) to expand impact, efficiency, and scale.
• You’ll serve as a player-coach: managing one Product Specialist, while partnering closely with an external development agency to deliver high-quality releases on time and on budget.
