  • Analyse multi-source imagery (satellite, aerial, UAV) and open-source intelligence for defence and security applications
  • Detect, identify, and characterise objects, activities, and changes of interest to support operational and intelligence requirements
  • Perform temporal and spatial analyses leveraging time-series data to assess threats, monitor areas, and identify anomalies or emerging patterns
  • Integrate imagery findings with geospatial datasets (GIS layers, terrain models, proprietary datasets) to produce comprehensive assessments
  • Develop and optimise analytical tools using machine learning, AI, and statistical methods to enhance imagery exploitation workflows
  • Translate complex intelligence and geospatial findings into clear, concise reports, visualisations, and map-based products for defence stakeholders
  • Collaborate with mission planners, intelligence officers, and technical experts to ensure analytical outputs meet operational requirements
  • Represent the organisation in engagements with MODs, government agencies, and defence partners
  • Stay current with emerging geospatial technologies, sensors, and defence intelligence needs

  • 5+ years of experience in imagery analysis for defence, intelligence, or security applications
  • Strong understanding of EO data, including VNIR, MWIR, LWIR, or SAR
  • Proficiency in geospatial analysis tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, ENVI, ERDAS Imagine)
  • Experience developing software for imagery analysis (preferred in Python)
  • Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with defence-focused tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (TCPED) workflows
  • Familiarity with defence-specific geospatial standards and data formats (e.g., NGA products, STANAGs)
  • Knowledge of non-civil datasets used in defence applications
  • Proven experience as a geospatial analyst with expertise in GEOINT
  • Holds or is eligible for security clearance
  • Nice to have: Background in military, defence, or intelligence agencies; prior engagement with MODs or government entities; Thermal Imagery analysis; Experience with AI/ML-based solutions for imagery exploitation; Experience in companies focused on defence and security applications
