About the role

  • Provide daily financial support to the manufacturing department managers.
  • Identify risks & opportunities and communicate to responsible individuals.
  • Act as a business advisor to the APU’s on financial matters related to cost and capex.
  • Responsible for monthly reporting and analysis of costs and variances.
  • Analyze monthly variances between actual, budget and forecast.
  • Perform weekly and monthly analysis on annual maintenance spending.
  • Report and challenge daily requisitions to ensure proper accounting treatment.
  • Communicate with operations to generate a monthly forecast.
  • Help prepare the annual Budget and 5 Year Plan.
  • Responsible for ensuring that monthly financial closing tasks are in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
  • Complete assigned account reconciliations to support the financials.
  • Ensure assigned tasks are in compliance with all internal control procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance, required
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA), preferred
  • 10 + years if manufacturing accounting and standard cost experience helpful
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles
  • Familiarity with SOX and internal controls
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace team environment
