About the role
- Direct and manage all aspects of installation and maintenance work for assigned projects and maintenance outages including safety, risk, quality, procurement, communication, stakeholder engagement, resource, and scope change management with the support of a team.
- Lead pre-construction planning/reviews and provide constructability input during design phases and reviews.
- Provide field support during all phases of project and outage development.
- Provide miscellaneous technical support for plant maintenance activities.
- Provide technical guidance and direction in the analysis and resolution of complex project challenges.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Periodic discipline specific guidance and support for plant maintenance and operations.
- Support of system maintenance, advancement and improvement initiatives.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED, required
- Associate’s degree in related field or completion of Apprenticeship program, preferred
- Extensive background in construction activities, required
- 10+ years of experience managing maintenance and construction craft labor, preferred
- Ability to adapt to a new industrial environment, required
- Effective communication (both written and verbal) with the ability to adapt communication styles to different audiences, preferred
- Ability to lead and/or take direction in a team environment
- Effective time management with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, required
- Must be well organized and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, required
