About the role

  • Assist with preparation of monthly general ledger entries, including accruals and prepayments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations with guidance from senior team members.
  • Support production of financial statements under relevant local accounting standards.
  • Assist in preparing global statutory and regulatory financial information.
  • Compile working papers for year‑end and audit processes.
  • Support the Finance Operations team with routine processes within accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash management.
  • Help ensure invoices, payments and receipts are processed accurately and on time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or a related discipline (minimum 2:1 expected).
  • Applicants from other degree disciplines will also be considered if they hold an A Level in Mathematics at grade A, have a strong academic record, and can demonstrate a genuine interest in a career in Accounting.
  • Strong numerical and analytical capability.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to manage workload across multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Excel with a willingness to develop advanced skills.
  • No prior professional experience required. Relevant academic knowledge, internships or industry placements beneficial but not essential.
