The Instructional Systems Designer is a fully experienced with the skillset or knowledge, works with minimal supervision; capable of serving as a trainer, mentor to junior and mid-level staff.
Capable of designing and developing instructional material for customer training courses that supports the organization.
Demonstrates proficiency in understanding computer systems, applications and interfaces.
Delivers content clearly and concisely in accordance with established training program objectives and parameters and coaches and motivates students.
Develops training exercises and tests to evaluate students' skills and progress and provides individual feedback to each student and his/her supervisor(s).
Requirements
BA/BS/AS Degree in Information Systems or related field, or equivalent demonstrated work experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
Experience Preferred: 3 to 5 years, IT, Healthcare or related experience in a training capacity preferred.
EPIC certifications in one or more applications and TED, i.e. Willow, ADT, ASAP, etc.
One or more professional certifications/fellowships, i.e. American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and/or Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)
Other relevant Healthcare IS or IS system certification, i.e. Cerner, Lawson, SAP, Microsoft, etc.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook).
