About the role

  • Support and operation of Windows servers, VMware, Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD, O365, Exchange, AWS, and other packaged software
  • Work as part of the Business Technology Infrastructure team to provide support for identified business problems
  • Respond to End User requests for technical support and assistance within established procedures
  • Provide operational support for On-premise Active Directory, Azure AD, VMware, and related network support equipment to ensure changes and maintenance do not interrupt service
  • Provide operational support of Windows Servers and other Microsoft application server systems administration both on premise and cloud-based
  • Analysis, administration and support of VDI technologies (including VMware Horizon VDI)
  • Provide support and assistance in the delivery of End User support and Systems Maintenance
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures
  • Respond to escalated requests for technical assistance and troubleshoot and resolve mid- to high-level problems
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant hardware and software applications as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in systems engineering across: Windows environments, VMware (including VMware Horizon VDI), Cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
  • Active Directory (on-premise and Azure AD)
  • Experience with M365 administration
  • Experience managing enterprise storage systems (e.g., Pure Storage, NetApp, SAN/NAS)
  • Experience with infrastructure backup solutions (e.g., Veeam)
  • Strong understanding of virtualization technologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask, be detail-oriented, responsive, and demonstrate independent and critical thinking
  • Preferred: PowerShell scripting experience
  • Preferred: Exposure to automation and infrastructure-as-code practices
  • Candidates MUST reside in the US
