About the role

  • Leads projects that involve the successful management of teams composed of data processing and other information management professionals
  • Performs day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, possibly involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations
  • Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all contract support activities
  • Communicates daily with DLA Project Managers (PM) and Points of Contacts (POC)
  • Manages project schedules and resources to ensure deliverables meet government deadlines
  • Resolves all issues/problems, allocates resources, manages project personnel and project operations and performance
  • Develops and maintains an Integrated Master Project Schedule for all DLA LAN projects
  • Prepares and provides reports on a weekly basis: Activity Report, Integrated Master Project Schedule and Financial Status
  • Develops and presents In-Process Review (IPR) slides on a quarterly basis, or as requested, for all open projects to the DLA LAN contract

Requirements

  • BS or BA or four (4) additional years of related experience
  • Sensitivity Level: IT-II / SECRET Clearance
  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • 10 years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields
  • 5 years of experience in program management
  • Experience with the Information Technology Acquisition process and its milestones
  • Experience in analyzing a variety of source documentation and supporting the creation of acquisition documentation.
