About the role
- Develop and implement business plans under the direction of the Regional Director
- Achieves sales quotas by driving sales teams to deliver above market share growth through product sales introductions in assigned district/territory.
- Implements sales strategies and tactics for the area, promoting products to existing and new customers through the sales reps.
- Establishes and develops rapport with key surgeons and engage with admin level customers (hospital and ambulatory surgery centers) to lead and manage positive and productive relationships.
- Recruit, hire, trains and manage a performance-oriented sales team
- Maintains routine communications, field rides, management support, leadership, performance management and development of each direct report.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from Accredited University (MBA or MA preferred)
- 5+ years of demonstrated successful sales experience within the medical device industry
- 2+ years of sales management experience with demonstrated ability to lead others to accomplish sales goals
- High level of energy, motivation, drive, perseverance, initiative, commitment & professionalism
- Excellent time management and ability to effectively prioritize
