About the role
- Negotiating complex SaaS and technology-related contracts.
- Advising on data protection and compliance.
- Providing pragmatic, business-focused legal advice across a range of issues.
- Collaborating closely with commercial, product, customer success, and internal operations teams.
- Serving as the first point of contact for legal matters in your region.
- Working in a small, fast-moving legal team that partners across the business.
Requirements
- Licensed attorney in Massachusetts or Pennsylvania.
- 5–7+ years’ legal experience, including time at a major U.S. law firm in a transactional practice.
- Extensive experience drafting and negotiating corporate and commercial contracts.
- Working with a broad range of client contracts and procurement agreements, particularly B2B technology and information‑related contracts.
- Identifying and resolving contractual and business risks.
- Managing multiple negotiations and a high‑volume contract pipeline with clear prioritisation.
- Producing clear, effective contracts, amendments, addenda, exhibits and customer communications.
- Balancing fast‑paced commercial priorities with long‑term risk considerations.
- Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills, with the ability to articulate and defend positions, produce efficient redlines and guide agreements to closure.
- Knowledge of data and software licensing, intellectual property, privacy, employment and commercial contract law is preferred, but not essential.
