About the role
- Field Leadership and Culture: Lead by example a highly distributed field team (approx. 90 employees, including direct and indirect reports), serving as an ethical reference to ensure psychological safety and maintain high squad engagement (NPS).
- Execution Management (From plan to shelf): Ensure that the strategy developed at HQ is feasible and executed at the frontline, guaranteeing excellence in core sales fundamentals (price, availability, planogram compliance and visibility) across the Grocery, Pharmacy and Cash & Carry channels.
- Tactical Intelligence and Feedback Loop: Act as the link between operations and strategy, validating the effectiveness of merchandising and POS materials and feeding real field data back to Trade and Marketing to adjust routes and plans.
- Performance and ROI: Shift the area’s perception from an "operational cost center" to an "investment lever" by implementing KPIs and analyses that demonstrate the financial return (ROI) of execution activities and the work of in‑store promoters.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain an intensive schedule of visits and relationships with key accounts (e.g., Raia, DPSP), resolving operational bottlenecks on site and identifying growth opportunities on the shop floor.
Requirements
- Field Experience: Proven experience with POS visit routines (practical knowledge of planograms, shelf share, stockouts and merchandising).
- Experience Leading Large Teams: Prior experience managing operational teams.
- Multichannel Perspective: Strong understanding of sell-out dynamics across Grocery, Pharmacy and Cash & Carry channels.
- Hybrid Skillset (Strategy + Hands-on): Analytical capability to discuss ROI and P&L, combined with a willingness to solve tactical in-store problems.
- Location: Resident of São Paulo (city) with mobility for frequent visits.
