About the role
- Support the Billing Lifecycle: Process claims from submission through payment posting
- Help Monitor Accounts Receivable: Track outstanding claims and aging reports
- Assist with EDI and Payor Enrollment: Support the setup and maintenance of electronic data interchange connections
- Work Denials and Appeals: Process denied claims by gathering additional documentation
- Communicate with Billing Partners: Serve as a contact point for outsourced billing vendors
- Contribute to Process Improvement: Share observations and suggestions for efficiencies
Requirements
- 1-2 years of hands-on medical billing experience
- Exposure to denied claims or accounts receivable follow-up
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Knowledge of basic medical billing concepts—CPT/HCPCS codes, EOBs, payer requirements
- Collaborative communicator
- Growth-oriented, seeking to build a career in revenue cycle management.
