About the role

  • Supporting various aspects of M&A transaction execution, including due diligence, signing, and closing activities
  • Collaborating with business leaders to plan, prioritize, and execute M&A transactions across a subset of enterprise businesses
  • Identifying and building process improvements, best practices, and tools to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of transition services
  • Partnering with legal, finance, tax, and other functional experts, as well as external advisors, to ensure smooth transaction execution
  • Leading senior management stakeholder expectations, reporting, and engagement which requires significant discovery and analysis
  • Managing post-signing separation/integration efforts, ensuring that cross-functional teams meet their respective transition requirements and the overall Company objectives
  • Preparing and delivering high-quality presentations for senior leadership

Requirements

  • Bring 5+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, transition management services, program management, or management consulting
  • Extensive program/project management experience required
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in leading complex transactions from inception to close
  • Communicate effectively with executives, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
  • Apply strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and critical thinking to evaluate the overall operations and transition needs
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Navigate legal agreements, contracts, and transaction documentation confidently
  • Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to M&A transactions
  • Experience with organizational change management and communication.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • Travel as needed to support deal execution and integration/separation activities
