About the role
- Plan, coordinate, and manage end-to-end release cycles across multiple Agile and non-Agile teams
- Develop and maintain release schedules, roadmaps, and deployment timelines
- Facilitate release planning sessions, including sprint alignment and cross-team dependency tracking
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure release readiness
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact release scope, timeline, or quality
- Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and change management processes
- Coordinate code merges, builds, and deployments across environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Production)
- Oversee release documentation, including release notes, runbooks, and rollback procedures
- Drive continuous improvement of release processes, tools, and automation
- Monitor post-release performance and lead retrospectives to improve future releases
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in release management, program management, or delivery management
- Hands-on experience in hybrid Agile environments (Agile + Waterfall)
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and SDLC methodologies
- Experience with release orchestration tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, ServiceNow)
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-team releases with competing priorities
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
