About the role

  • Assist in building and maintaining financial models for valuation, return analysis, and scenario planning.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry assessments to support deal theses.
  • Analyze target company financial statements and operational metrics.
  • Support due diligence activities across functional workstreams (Finance, HR, Legal, Operations, etc.).
  • Prepare materials for internal stakeholders, including business cases, investment memos, and executive level presentations.
  • Assist in tracking deal timelines, coordinating project tasks, and maintaining documentation.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support integration planning, tracking, and reporting.
  • Help monitor performance against acquisition objectives and synergy targets.
  • Work closely with internal partners to gather data, analyze findings, and present insights.
  • Support communication of key analyses and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Up to 5 years of experience in Finance, Investment Banking, Consulting, Corporate Development, or relevant internships.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including comfort working with financial models and large datasets.
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; exposure to financial modeling is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • MBA or comparable graduate degree (preferred)
  • Internship or entry level experience in M&A, corporate finance, financial planning, investment banking, or similar (preferred)
  • Familiarity with valuation techniques (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions) (preferred)
  • Curiosity, learning mindset, and passion for understanding how businesses create value (preferred).
