About the role
- Provide seamless, proactive support to the CEO, managing a complex calendar that includes internal meetings, investor and analyst engagements, Board and committee meetings, and external commitments
- Coordinate extensive domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries, logistics, and contingency planning
- Prepare, review, and edit executive-level correspondence, presentations, reports, and talking points
- Anticipate the CEO’s needs by staying informed of business priorities, deadlines, and shifting dynamics
- Serve as a primary administrative liaison to the Board of Directors
- Coordinate Board and committee meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, materials distribution, and minute-taking as appropriate
- Support governance processes while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with public company standards
- Act as a gatekeeper and trusted point of contact for the CEO, managing communications with senior executives, investors, advisors, and external partners
- Exercise sound judgment in prioritizing requests and handling sensitive or time-critical matters
- Foster strong working relationships across the executive team and broader organization
- Support select strategic initiatives and special projects on behalf of the CEO
- Track action items and follow up to ensure timely completion
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and executive workflow
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- 10+ years of experience providing executive-level support, preferably to a CEO or C-suite executive in a large, complex, or publicly traded organization
- Demonstrated experience supporting Board of Directors and interacting with senior leadership
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and integrity; ability to handle confidential information with absolute care
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (e.g., Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint); comfort learning new technologies
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and remain calm under pressure.
