About the role
- Provides information and evaluation of airport operations and business challenges.
- Evaluates costs and benefits of solution alternatives in civil and commercial airport context including compliance costs and supporting personnel, process, systems, and related burdens
- Interprets airport regulations in operational and business terms including workforce training, organized labor, and vocational programs.
- Provides interface to engage leaders at civil airports to facilitate research
- Conduct assessments of airport operations to identify safety risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor compliance with industry standards and regulations, including FAA and TRB guidelines.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on findings, recommendations, and progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years experience in aviation
- Demonstrated practical experience in airport executive leadership
- Demonstrated ability to engage aviation workforce, the press and the public
