About the role

  • Develop and implement the strategy of private label brands for the company.
  • Work directly with current and future sourcing partners in growing the portfolio by implementing best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with sales team, supplier relations, marketing, and contracts in support of profit growth objectives.
  • Lead sourcing team for private label brands and evaluate, develop, implement sourcing strategies and action plans.
  • Build strong relationships with key internal departments, sourcing partners, and outside stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on product sourcing decisions with Supplier Relations Department to optimize the value of private label.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years in previous med-surg product/industry specific or procurement/product sourcing experience.
  • MBA, with concentration in business administration, supply chain or related discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-years of experience with Concordance or equivalent company in the healthcare industry or related product-sourcing role in a complex industry is preferred.
  • Proven leadership characteristics such as working well with others, knowledge sharing expertise with fellow peers, functioning with tact and diplomacy, and presenting an overall positive attitude.
  • Strong problem solving, analytics, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Effective relationship building skills.
  • Strong negotiating skills are critical for this role.
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check and drug screening.
