About the role
- Work closely with the customer and other systems engineers and development engineers to comprehend customer objectives and requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business representatives, and subject matter experts to design IT systems in synchronization with the needs of the organization
- Create roadmaps and regulations guiding IT designs and implementation
- Develop and implement integrated EA and IT portfolio management guidance to assist investment decisions and planning based on industry best practices
- Assist with providing EA analysis and high-level data for investment decision making
- Conduct quantitative and trend analysis of data
- Optimize enterprise-wide investment information through the integration of EA and governance
- Facilitate meetings
- Extract data from IT portfolio management and enterprise architecture tools and tailor for presentation to stakeholders at varying levels
- Oversee the execution and delivery of work product for a team of Enterprise, Systems, and Data/Information Architects
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology changes, industry trends, and IT Governance/Architecture models, advising teams on potential impacts and necessary adjustments
Requirements
- US Citizenship
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- 7+ Years experience in Business Analysis, Systems Architecture, System Design, and IT/Technology Infrastructure Design and Planning in support of DOD Enterprise Architect Functions
- At least 2+ Years as a Senior/Lead Architect
- Knowledge of or certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, FEAF, DODAF
- Knowledge and awareness of new and emerging technologies/governance such as AI and Zero trust preferred
- Ability to lead a team of more junior enterprise architects
