About the role

  • Drive and manage overall execution and delivery of technical deliverables for telecom clients
  • Lead multiple projects and oversee onshore/offshore development teams to meet project specifications
  • Identify new technology solutions and work with internal partners to forecast needs and strategies
  • Provide program management, technical leadership, execution oversight, and governance
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions, and prepare reports
  • Collaborate with senior management and internal teams (Sales, Global Resources, HR, Accounting, PMO, Centers of Excellence)
  • Assess systems architecture and recommend improvements
  • Ensure solutions adhere to customer-approved tools and technologies and meet security, performance, and regulatory requirements
  • Plan product/features roadmap, functional/non-functional requirements, and release planning
  • Establish/accelerate agile processes, frameworks, and tools with Engineering and COEs
  • Conduct code and design reviews and mentor leads
  • Manage development costs, financial performance, and personnel activities

Requirements

  • Experience with a global digital transformation services company in the telecom industry
  • Experience representing solutions including business strategy, experience design, software engineering, automation, and operations
  • Strong program management and technical leadership experience
  • Experience leading multiple projects and managing onshore/offshore development teams
  • Knowledge of IT Technical Architecture, applications programming, and software troubleshooting
  • Experience with OSS/BSS platforms, messaging/event streaming (Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Experience with distributed databases (Cassandra, MongoDB)
  • Cloud platforms and CI/CD & pipeline automation experience
  • Experience with Generative AI integration
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of management
  • Personnel management and talent development experience
  • Must be located near client in Seattle, Washington area
