About the role

  • Implements and continually improves the automation framework and architecture.
  • Writes and develops automation scripts on both Selenium Follows the Agile process fully
  • Works with the delivery teams to deliver test automation targets and helps to create solutions to include automated non-functional as well as functional tests.
  • Maintains a good awareness of business strategy, new products, platforms, tools and technologies and keep abreast of the technical strategy of our suppliers.
  • Uses and leverages emerging technologies/practices such as Microsoft CoPilot, and propose improvements and inject new ideas whilst making the most of re-use and simplicity in solutions.
  • Give project demos and ensures that test cases are always updated and current

Requirements

  • 4-6 Years of experience in delivering scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks and solutions.
  • Proven experience of various test automation BDD frameworks such as SpecFlow/Cucumber and relating specialist tooling, such as Selenium WebDriver.
  • In-depth knowledge and solid working experience of both scripting and OO programming languages (JAVA, Selenium, Spring Boot, HTML, JavaScript)
  • Hands on experience in Playwright.
  • Should have worked on modern UI page automation scripts.
  • Proven experience of database integration and development (SQL)
  • Experience of resolving issues arising from test scripts (in manual and automated form)
  • Strong hands-on use of Test, CI and development tools (e.g. Selenium JAVA Coded UI, Appium with WinAppDriver, LoadRunner, RPT, JMeter, Jenkins, Wireshark, SOAP UI, Eclipse, Grafana).
  • Wide experience of Agile methodologies, e.g. SCRUM, Lean, Kanban etc.
  • Hands on experience with SSMS, Powershell, Grafana, Telegraph and InfluxDB.
  • Excellent analytical skills of test tool and AUT output derived during testing.
  • Experience of financial services, mortgage servicing, share registry or employee share plan industries is desirable.
  • Aware of external trends and emerging technologies and embrace a culture of continuous improvement to process and product development.
  • Experience with CI/CD, good working knowledge of using a CI system (Preferably Azure DevOps)
  • Experience in managing automation suite for Web/mobile apps and API Layer testing.
