About the role
- Administer and manage assigned deals, including actively managed portfolios with daily, time sensitive activity.
- Ensure portfolio and trade activity is processed accurately, timely and in accordance with client instructions and contractual agreements.
- Ensure cash and asset positions are updated daily within internal systems and tied out with clients.
- Act as primary point of contact for client communication and apply product knowledge to independently investigate and respond to routine client inquiries and requests.
- May assess unique requests and negotiate an agreeable completion timeframe for all stakeholders.
- Liaise with deal stakeholders and internal or external parties to promptly resolve all trade, funding, asset transaction or reporting issues.
- Be competent in core systems and assist with training junior team members and answering questions.
- Assist with contract review and negotiation identifying potential risks with operational requirements and proposing mitigating strategies to safeguard the company’s and our clients assets.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: Corporate Trust, Financial Services, Account Management, Structured Finance.
- A four-year degree or military experience may offset one year of required experience.

- Ability to work independently, make decisions, and instruct others
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex legal documents
- Strong math aptitude
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications
- Effective organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
- Solid PC skills including proficiency with MS Excel
- Ability to work in high pressure and time sensitive environment
- Customer service focus with experience actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs and recommending solutions
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience completing tasks in a timely and efficient manner with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
