About the role

  • Define the scope and contents of each release with the relevant customer business
  • Forward manage the schedule of expected releases to maximize delivery effectiveness
  • Undertake impact assessments as part of the release
  • Liaise with relevant ISPs for adequate support pre, during, and post-implementation
  • Participate in CAB meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks
  • Responsible for the delivery of the Release Service to specific customers
  • Own the day-to-day service relationship with Delivery Management and Customer Stakeholders
  • Provide timely and relevant communications relating to the release

Requirements

  • Self-motivated and able to take ownership of own workload
  • High degree of professional responsibility
  • Be able to liaise with customer stakeholders at a senior level
  • Broad experience in IT Service environment
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Able to coordinate technical and non-technical tasks across multiple teams
  • Good time management skills
  • ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 Foundation
  • Experience of Project Management principles
  • Desirable: Prince 2 Practitioner qualification
  • Desirable: ITIL Release, Control & Validation qualification
