About the role
- Define the scope and contents of each release with the relevant customer business
- Forward manage the schedule of expected releases to maximize delivery effectiveness
- Undertake impact assessments as part of the release
- Liaise with relevant ISPs for adequate support pre, during, and post-implementation
- Participate in CAB meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks
- Responsible for the delivery of the Release Service to specific customers
- Own the day-to-day service relationship with Delivery Management and Customer Stakeholders
- Provide timely and relevant communications relating to the release
Requirements
- Self-motivated and able to take ownership of own workload
- High degree of professional responsibility
- Be able to liaise with customer stakeholders at a senior level
- Broad experience in IT Service environment
- Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Able to coordinate technical and non-technical tasks across multiple teams
- Good time management skills
- ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 Foundation
- Experience of Project Management principles
- Desirable: Prince 2 Practitioner qualification
- Desirable: ITIL Release, Control & Validation qualification
