About the role
- Responsible for modeling the Compassus values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Innovation.
- Ensures compliance with legal obligations in employment matters including colleague relations.
- Conducts thorough investigations of complaints from management and team members at all levels.
- Develops trust and integrity-based, timely solutions for departmental management.
- Partners with Employment Law team to respond to legal claims.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- At least two (2) years of relevant Human Resources Management experience with a focus on colleague (employee) relations highly preferred.
- Prior Human Resources experience in healthcare preferred.
- Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English.
- PHR preferred; SHRM-CP or work towards certification preferred.
