Manage day-to-day national social media accounts, ensuring consistent and on-brand messaging
Schedule and post content, interact with followers, and manage social media inboxes
Actively engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions
Build and maintain relationships with partners and supporters
Provides direction, guidance, and support for regional and affinity groups in partnership with internal staff members (digital/AO/SMEs)
Monitors platforms for PR risks and brand management
Manage social media platforms, digital advertising platforms, social media analytics systems, and content management tools
Develop and execute social media strategies and campaigns to align with C&C’s goals and objectives
Create engaging, high-quality content (post copy) for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X
Ensure all content fits the tone and brand of C&C
Update and monitor the editorial calendar
Identify opportunities for utilizing new platforms and partnerships
Plan and execute social media campaigns to increase brand visibility and supporter interaction
Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience in social media marketing, content creation, and community management
Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, tools, and best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Loomly)
Basic graphic design skills (experience with tools like Canva, Photoshop, etc.) is a plus
Ability to analyze data and adjust strategies for better performance
Creative, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects with attention to detail
Knowledge of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices for organic and paid strategies
Experience analyzing and reporting on social media performance metrics
Strong understanding of brand tone, mission, and vision
Understanding of marketing laws and accessibility requirements
