About the role
- In collaboration with Compa’s Co-founder & CTO and engineering leads on the Data Foundations Team, you will help define and deliver the technical vision for the systems that power the world’s largest software-delivered compensation data platform.
- Own the execution of the the technical vision for Compa’s foundational data systems and product infrastructure.
- As the engineering leader on a cross-functional team, ensure successful delivery, stability, reliability, and internal developer experience supporting peer engineering teams.
- Partner with Compa’s Director of Product on the roadmap for Compa’s data products.
Requirements
- 2+ years managing engineering teams
- Highly influential spoken and written communication with XFN leaders, technical leaders, and customers
- Track record of building and operating production software systems
- Experience creating new XFN process when it serves the team and deleting process when it is the team serving the process
- Low ego, with an appetite to build, and employ good judgment in making hard trade-offs with limited resources
- Effectively recruit, mentor, retain, and measure high performing teams
- Gumption — experience working at early-stage startups
- Experience shipping products that are delivered to enterprise customers
- Experience with systems that handle data where data correctness and quality matter
