Attorney

• overseeing the daily operations of the Yavapai, Mohave and La Paz Counties offices
• ensuring high-quality legal representation and advocacy
• identifying, developing and implementing strategic advocacy initiatives
• balancing an active, reduced caseload with administrative, supervisory and advocacy responsibilities
• required to be in-person in each office on a weekly basis

Managing Attorney

• interviews applicants and clients
• evaluates case for appropriate action
• provides legal advice, brief service and direct representation
• completes applications for services and performs file management
• provides supervision of paralegals’ legal work as directed
• engages in community education and outreach activities
• conducts legal research
• actively participates in strategic advocacy to eliminate systemic barriers to access to justice to persons with low incomes
• performs other duties as assigned

Triage Staff Attorney

• Interviews applicants and clients
• Provides legal advice, brief service and direct representation
• Completes applications for services and performs file management
• Represents clients in court and administrative proceedings, and other appropriate forums
• Negotiates settlements
• Engages in community education and outreach activities
• Conducts legal research
• Actively participates in strategic advocacy to eliminate systemic barriers to access to justice to persons with low incomes
• Performs other duties as assigned.
