Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to understand user needs and business objectives.
Design user-centric AI-powered tools that simplify and optimize engineering processes.
Create UI flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups to communicate design ideas effectively.
Ensure designs are consistent with the bank’s design system and align with engineering requirements.
Use data and insights to understand the staff, customer and business drivers to define and measure UX metrics.
Collaborate closely with a diverse range of stakeholders including Product Managers and Engineers.
Apply service design principles to ensure the end-to-end user experience is seamless and aligned with product and technology.
Perform desk research and market analysis to identify high-impact areas for AI-powered tools and prioritise feature development.
Work mainly on internal AI tools and periodically on retail or business customer-focused projects.
Contribute to improving the speed, accuracy, and effectiveness of engineering workflows within the bank.
Requirements
Proven experience as a product designer, UX/UI designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing design for complex software systems or platforms.
Experience with user research methodologies (human centred design) and ability to translate insights into actionable design decisions.
Ability to think beyond the digital solutions and recognise the role of the environment in how people use technology.
Experience with service design methods, focusing on delivering an integrated user experience across various touchpoints and services.
Familiarity with cyber security operations, in particular vulnerability remediation and pen testing processes (plus but not required).
Technical acumen with the ability to understand and communicate trade-offs between design and engineering requirements.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving, conceptual and design skills.
Expertise in design tools such as Figma.
Experience with designing for AI will be a plus but is not required.
Strong background working with technical stakeholders and ability to collaborate effectively.
