About the role
- Design AI-powered engineering tools that are intuitive, effective, and optimized for engineering teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, and product management.
- Create UI flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups to communicate design ideas.
- Ensure designs are consistent with the bank’s design system and align with engineering requirements.
- Analyse and document business/functional processes and requirements using standard analysis methodologies and tools.
- Convert business needs into functional designs using knowledge of system capabilities, rules, and architecture.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders including Product Owners and Engineers.
- Apply service design principles to ensure seamless end-to-end user experience and alignment between product, technology, and customer needs.
- Contribute to improving the speed, accuracy, and overall effectiveness of engineering workflows within the bank.
Requirements
- Identity and Access Management or Cyber Security Experience and detailed knowledge in Privileged access management.
- Product specific knowledge in SailPoint, Ping Identity, CyberArk, Active Directory.
- Proven experience as a product designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing design for complex software systems or platforms.
- Experience with user research methodologies (human centred design) and ability to translate insights into actionable design decisions.
- Experience with service design methods, focusing on delivering an integrated user experience across various touchpoints and services.
- Familiarity with cyber security operations, in particular vulnerability remediation and pen testing processes (will be a plus but is not required).
- Technical acumen with the ability to understand and communicate trade-offs between design and engineering requirements.
- Team player enthusiastic about collaboration and sharing, with a strong focus on user outcomes and working with technical stakeholders.
