About the role
- Manage the execution of M&A, private placements, and capital-raising transactions.
- Serve as the main point of coordination for transaction processes and client relationships during live deals.
- Oversee internal deal teams and ensure quality and effective collaboration.
- Mentor Associates and Analysts to support team development and efficiency.
- Review and guide financial models and valuation analyses including DCF, trading comparables, transaction precedents, and LBO models.
- Oversee preparation and finalization of pitchbooks, Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), management presentations, and transaction documents.
- Coordinate across legal, financial, and internal teams to resolve transaction-related challenges.
- Assist senior leadership with select origination efforts and strategic client discussions.
- Support development of junior staff and provide performance feedback in coordination with senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field required.
- MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in investment banking or corporate finance, with a strong focus on transaction execution.
- Proven track record in managing M&A deals, private placements, and capital raising transactions.
- Experience mentoring junior team members.
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise (Excel).
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint for client-facing materials.
- Familiarity with financial databases.
- Deep understanding of deal structuring, transaction processes, and regulatory considerations.
