About the role

  • Build and develop a high-performing team of 7 specialists through empowering, coaching-based leadership.
  • Provide clear strategic direction for the role of AI, analytics, and data-driven workflows across R&D.
  • Ensure strong data and organizational foundations, including data governance.
  • Communicate the value, potential, and limitations of AI and data in a way that informs decision-making at all levels.
  • Act as the primary voice for AI & Data Science within R&D and in collaboration with Global IT and digital functions.

Requirements

  • Experience leading and developing expert teams in technical or analytical domains.
  • A track record of developing and implementing departmental strategies.
  • A good understanding of data and AI-enabled ways of working.
  • A collaborative mindset with a strong motivation to make it easier for others to do great work.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
