About the role

  • Act as the Statutory Director, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks across Australia and New Zealand, as well as adherence to Coloplast Business Ethics Standards.
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to senior leaders on financial and operational implication of business decisions.
  • Partner with the Country Manager to deliver strong P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow performance.
  • Own the P&L forecasting process, collaborating closely with Commercial Team on revenue stream forecasting.
  • Oversee preparation and management of internal and external financial reporting, forecasts, and planning, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain a robust system of internal controls in partnership with Global Corporate Finance.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including insurance providers, auditors, and tax authorities.
  • Lead operational functions including Customer Service, Logistics, Projects, IT and Distribution Centre while driving continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, and HR teams to ensure alignment and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Managerial Economics, or a related degree (MBA preferred but not essential)
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a senior financial leadership role with proven expertise in regulatory compliance.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of delivering strategic financial insights and to identify opportunities in both simple and complex challenges.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a proven ability to visualise and drive business growth.
  • Exceptional organisation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate persuasively and build relationships.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and challenge the status quo to drive continuous improvement.
  • Proven track record in executing strategic plans and achieving business objectives.
