About the role
- Pick orders using scan technology and place on conveyor belt for delivery to packing/staging area
- Perform any required shelf maintenance and ensure 100% accuracy of assigned zone
- Perform any required inventory replenishment
- Double check customer order for accuracy
- Pack items for delivery to be sent to the staging area
- Place customer order in delivery queue depending on order destination
- Correctly select items for orders
- Feed wire onto foot shear to cut wire to desired lengths
- Maintains knowledge of all policies and procedures and understands that safety is a number one priority
- Performs maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned
- Operate machinery to maneuver product (Pallet Jack, Counter Balance, Forklift) (Training provided)
Requirements
- Basic computer skills
- Age: 18 years or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to be on your feet for the majority of the shift
- Must be detail oriented with basic math skills
- Must be able to work with limited supervision
- Must be able to work with team members in a fast-paced environment
- Miscellaneous assignments as required by management
- Ensuring the complete physical safety of oneself and one’s co-workers at all times without exception
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
