About the role
- Own the end-to-end execution of CoLab’s SEO- and AEO-focused written content
- Write high-quality, long-form blog posts that answer specific AI-in-engineering questions with clarity and credibility
- Translate keyword opportunities into thoughtful topic proposals, scopes, and outlines and push back when a keyword doesn’t deserve content
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and depth
- Partner with Digital Marketing and Demand Gen to align content with keyword strategy, site structure, and performance insights
- Continuously improve content based on engagement, discoverability, and qualitative feedback not just rankings
Requirements
- 5+ years experience writing content for technical or expert audiences
- Strong working knowledge of SEO fundamentals, including keyword research, search intent, and on-page optimization
- Proven ability to learn complex domains and translate them into clear, accurate writing
- Experience collaborating with subject matter experts to produce credible content
- Strong writing craft (clarity, structure, and precision matter here)
- Bonus: experience writing for engineers, manufacturing, or industrial technology audiences
