About the role

  • The Sr Manager, Corporate Systems is responsible for leading a team of analysts, scrum masters, engineers and operators focused on Coinstar’s Corporate, Sales and Field Service systems
  • This position is responsible for overseeing project delivery as well as managing L2/L3 support responsibilities all associated to these systems.
  • This role will also be responsible for spearheading use of automation software including elements of AI to improve and automate highly manual, repetitive tasks for the purposes of both creating additional scale in the organization as well as reducing risk associated with manual error.
  • Provide global stakeholder leadership to Coinstar’s Accounting, Finance, Sales, Field Service and Customer Service functions as it pertains to technology matters
  • Spearhead a new process of automation implementation infused with AI capabilities enterprise wide for improved scale and reduced risk
  • Lead team through all aspects of software development and support operations in the areas of capacity planning, risk management, design oversight, quality assurance and service level performance
  • Provide key leadership role in critical software delivery projects including the potential of implementing Salesforce.com for global Field and Customer Service functions
  • Manage relationships with key vendor partners pertaining to support levels, escalations, release planning, roadmap development and contracts/renewals
  • Develop/mature key performance metrics for use with your team as well as your stakeholders
  • Partner with leadership and enterprise architecture on incorporating design patterns that focus on scale, reliability and performance
  • Oversee relationship with managed service partner aligned to your systems to ensure SLAs are being met and stakeholder satisfaction is being achieved
  • Ensure software development processes and operational intake, prioritization and delivery processes are efficient, cost effective and producing desired outcomes
  • Represent your team in all change and release management functions
  • Responsible for all assigned systems documentation, including tool and process guidelines, owning accuracy and organizational awareness
  • Motivate, coach, and mentor team members on best practices and adherence to policy, including team-level attainment of velocity and productivity goals in ticketing, project, and time tracking tools
  • Participate in company long-range planning sessions, collaborating on technology vision and taking personal responsibility across the larger organization to ensure alignment with business goals
  • Remain current with emerging technologies, influencing the future Coinstar landscape.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant work experience
  • 10+ years’ experience in Technology, including 7+ years in more than one of the following domains:
  • Administering production systems with 24x7 operations
  • Lead on an enterprise software deployment across multiple geographies
  • Lead on a digital transformative initiative
  • Lead on extending an enterprise system over multiple release cycles with major enhancement capabilities
  • Lead on implementation of automation software and/or AI for process efficiency
  • 5+ years’ team leadership and management of IT professionals, including budget responsibilities
  • Implementing, upgrading, migrating, and/or maintaining global CRM and ERP systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Customer-oriented, results-driven, and passionate about achieving the goals of the organization
  • Strong understanding of core constructs of cloud CRM and ERP systems, including common levels of configuration versus customization
  • Background in finance and accounting principles preferred but not required
  • Experience with complex data processing including the use of commercial and custom software
  • Familiar with the use of a managed service provider for staffing core operations (run)
  • Knowledgeable in capacity forecasts and using variable sizing models
  • Strong in the use of data to inform future decision making
  • Comfortable facilitating discussions with senior leadership across the organization.
