About the role
- Lead operations across EP&T programs and sites including supply chain, quality, EH&S, and facilities management
- Manage a small team of procurement specialists and other operations individual contributors across multiple sites (CO, OH, NJ, PA)
- Actively participate in procurement and supply-chain management, supplier/vendor management, and strategic sourcing
- Develop cost-reduction strategies and establish long-term supplier relationships
- Assist program management in oversight of vendor contract performance
- Develop synergistic relationships with procurement groups in sister business units and de-conflict EP&T-specific processes within a common ERP system
- Provide oversight of quality, EH&S, and facility management activities with local facility managers
- Ensure compliance with company EHS procedures and corporate EHS standards
- May be responsible for execution and maintenance of ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 standards depending on location
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams on product developments in High Energy Lasers, gimballed assemblies, space-based optical telescopes, and active sensing
- Contribute to business process optimization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, STEM discipline or other relevant discipline
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Typically requires 3+ years managerial/leadership experience
- Prior experience with supply-chain management, including supplier sourcing and procurement
- Experience with the IFS ERP system (highly desirable)
- Management of a small team
- Strategic sourcing and development of supplier partnerships
- Citizenship required: United States Citizenship
- Must have or able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance (or higher)
