About the role
- Develop and implement paid media strategies to drive broad brand awareness across digital channels (social media, display, video, search, etc.); out-of-home advertising; audio advertising / podcasts; and more
- Collaborate with media agency partners to plan, buy, and optimize campaigns that reach target audiences and build Cohere brand recognition
- Monitor campaign performance each workday, make data-driven optimizations, and report on KPIs including reach, impressions, frequency, brand lift, and engagement
- Manage media budgets effectively, ensuring optimal ROI and efficient spending
- Conduct regular competitive analysis to identify opportunities and benchmark performance
- Prepare regular performance reports for leadership, highlighting insights and recommendations
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and sales teams to ensure alignment on brand messaging and goals
- Work with creative teams to develop and test new messaging variants
- Stay current with digital advertising trends, platform updates, and emerging opportunities
Requirements
- 3-5 years in leading brand marketing campaigns on digital and traditional channels, with demonstrated ability to build platform-specific strategies and drive measurable awareness growth. B2B experience and/or tech industry experience preferred.
- Ability to create and amplify content that stands out in a crowded digital landscape, working with our Design and Content teams.
- Skill in analyzing trends, audience behavior, and performance to inform decisions.
- Comfort experimenting on new platforms and adjusting strategies based on emerging trends and technologies.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to work closely with designers, writers, marketers, PR, and product teams.
- Interest in leveraging AI tools for content creation and optimization, even without prior experience.
