💰 $135,000 - $150,000 per year
About the role
- Plan, organize, lead sales growth, penetrate new and under-served accounts and maintain customer satisfaction on a long-term basis.
- Develop and maintain account plans and execute sales strategies aligned with the account plans.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge and manage State, Local and Federal procurement and contracting processes.
- Meet or exceed sales objectives.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of business opportunities.
- Communicate a strong technical understanding of Cognyte’s offerings and know when to engage assistance from pre-sales, engineering, marketing, and senior management.
- As a Cognyter, you will: work with decision makers and other stakeholders in US State, Local and Federal agencies to actively seek new business opportunities, and to engage and build relationships with potential customers.
- You will also work internally with our Product Team, Marketing, Pre-Sales and Delivery Teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of proven work experience in SLED and Federal Sales.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Very good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
- Excellent Presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Fluent English
- Experience with sales techniques and tools.
- Previous experience working with Law Enforcement, Financial and Cyber Investigations teams.
- US Citizenship Required
