About the role
- Work with decision makers and stakeholders in US State, Local and Federal agencies to seek new business opportunities and build relationships
- Work internally with Product Team, Marketing, Pre-Sales and Delivery Teams
- Plan, organize, and lead sales growth; penetrate new and under-served accounts; maintain long-term customer satisfaction
- Develop and maintain account plans and execute sales strategies aligned with account plans
- Manage State, Local and Federal procurement and contracting processes
- Meet or exceed sales objectives and build/maintain a pipeline of business opportunities
- Communicate technical understanding of Cognyte’s offerings and coordinate with pre-sales, engineering, marketing, and senior management as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of proven work experience in SLED and Federal Sales
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Very good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills
- Excellent Presentation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent English
- Experience with sales techniques and tools
- Previous experience working with Law Enforcement, Financial and Cyber Investigations teams
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge and manage State, Local and Federal procurement and contracting processes
- US Citizenship Required
