About the role
- Strong communication skills to interact with shareholders and directors of target companies, advisors, and other internal support areas.
- Map markets and identify potential acquisition targets for the company.
- Support the development and understanding of the company's investment theses.
- Organized approach to receive and manage strategic documents of portfolio companies and targets under review.
- Strong analytical skills to perform financial analysis, financial modeling, and valuation.
- Ability to synthesize ideas and structure presentations on potential targets.
- Lead accounting, financial, and legal due diligence processes.
- Assist the legal team in drafting and structuring contracts.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related fields.
- Solid knowledge of corporate finance, financial modeling, and valuation.
- Strong communication skills to approach targets and build relationships with their owners/representatives.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and lead projects.
- Ability to handle confidential and strategic projects.
- Experience in M&A, venture capital, or related areas is a plus.
