About the role

  • Reporting to the Sr Regional Director of Sales
  • Responsible for aggressively building a pipeline, delivering revenue, and expanding the Cofense market share
  • Identify, build and test Champions/key decision-makers in Information Technology & Security departments
  • Prospecting, conducting creative and thoughtful discovery, technical presentation, pipeline management and a demonstrated ability to close
  • Accurately and consistently qualify sales forecasts and opportunity funnels using MEDDPICC
  • Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation, solution demos, negotiations, and closing deals with new customers
  • Represent the company at events as required

Requirements

  • 5+ years successful experience in outside software sales of information security services or products
  • 4 Year Bachelor of Arts or Science degree preferred
  • Expertise in managing sales opportunities from prospect to closure using MEDDPICC
  • Demonstrated ability to forecast and manage information within the Cofense CRM tools (Salesforce and Clari)
  • Ability to provide live and web-based demonstrations of the Cofense solution without sales engineer support
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Capability to present technical information to a variety of audiences
  • Extensive contacts in the information security field
  • Ability to manage multiple high priority tasks to successful completion
  • Willingness to travel a minimum of 30%
