About the role
- Reporting to the Sr Regional Director of Sales
- Responsible for aggressively building a pipeline, delivering revenue, and expanding the Cofense market share
- Identify, build and test Champions/key decision-makers in Information Technology & Security departments
- Prospecting, conducting creative and thoughtful discovery, technical presentation, pipeline management and a demonstrated ability to close
- Accurately and consistently qualify sales forecasts and opportunity funnels using MEDDPICC
- Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation, solution demos, negotiations, and closing deals with new customers
- Represent the company at events as required
Requirements
- 5+ years successful experience in outside software sales of information security services or products
- 4 Year Bachelor of Arts or Science degree preferred
- Expertise in managing sales opportunities from prospect to closure using MEDDPICC
- Demonstrated ability to forecast and manage information within the Cofense CRM tools (Salesforce and Clari)
- Ability to provide live and web-based demonstrations of the Cofense solution without sales engineer support
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Capability to present technical information to a variety of audiences
- Extensive contacts in the information security field
- Ability to manage multiple high priority tasks to successful completion
- Willingness to travel a minimum of 30%
