About the role
- Plan concepts by studying relevant information and materials
- Design and produce creative assets across print, digital and in store channels
- Translate creative briefs into effective visually engaging solutions
- Collaborate with fellow graphic designers and other departments
- Prepare finished art by operating necessary equipment and software
- Coordinate with outside suppliers and stakeholders
- Create a wide range of graphics and layouts for print production and online assets
- Review final layouts and suggest improvements when necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a graphic designer or in related field
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency in Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- Understanding of marketing, production, design, corporate identity, and product packaging
- Strong eye for visual composition and detail
- Effective time management skills for competing deadlines
- Strong people management/interpersonal skills
- Ability to give and receive constructive criticism
- Bilingualism an asset (English French)
