About the role

  • Lead the overall enterprise-wide effectiveness and efficiency of all infrastructure systems, networks, and end-user support systems to ensure high levels of functionality, reliability, performance, and business alignment
  • Oversee, coordinate, and monitor all support, administration, and operational management activities
  • Responsible for high levels of infrastructure reliability, availability, performance, problem management/elimination, PCI compliance, and IT disaster recovery utilizing developed standards, procedures, and operational IT processes, monitoring for continuous improvement
  • Lead the development of the service strategy and technical roadmap and ensure its integration with the overall IT and enterprise strategic plans
  • Participate in the assessment of external and internal technology capabilities required to achieve desired competitive positioning
  • Interact with and manage outside vendors, outsourcers, and service providers to procure and deliver technology products, services, and contracts. Ensure consistent quality and delivery of service across a tiered IT support model
  • Set the mission and vision of the team to foster a business-oriented culture and mindset driven by continual service improvement techniques
  • Establish, monitor, and analyze performance metrics and service level agreements to ensure business and customer needs are satisfied.
  • Champion involvement in the IT organization's innovation efforts and its role in experimenting with new solutions to take advantage of business opportunities
  • Direct, lead, and motivate a function(s) to deliver results by communicating company goals and deadlines; engaging and developing teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training; implementing continuous improvement methods and embodying company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership

Requirements

  • 7+ years of IT leadership experience within infrastructure technology disciplines
  • Strong knowledge in modern software, infrastructure, and mobile technologies
  • Project management and team management skills, across multiple teams, such as planning, budgetary control, people management, etc.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of methodologies and trends in both business and IT, with preferred experience with Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge and experience managing all aspects of cloud platform and services management in Microsoft Azure, as well as on-premise-based solutions
