About the role

  • Provides support to the Talent Acquisition Team in assisting the offer & pre-boarding process
  • Facilitates the post-offer pre-employment process providing technical and logistical support
  • Manages the onboarding process for hires including sending offer letters and compliance requirements
  • Interacts with candidates/applicants, hiring managers, payroll, and other partners and external vendors to accomplish tasks and address issues/questions
  • Provides support to team involving scheduling of events (hiring events, career fairs, etc.)
  • Maintains a candidate tracker, updated daily and shared with key stakeholders
  • Willingness to provide coverage for other TA Specialists as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge acquired through up to 12 months of relevant work experience
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills is a must with MS Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
  • Experience with recruiting information and applicant tracking systems preferred
  • Experience with background check processing and administration
  • Customer-focused approach to building positive relationships and responding to the needs of applicants/candidates, team members, and hiring managers
  • Strong detail orientation follow up and organizational skill
  • Strong interpersonal, listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and maintains strict confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently, enthusiastically, creatively, and with limited direction while meeting commitments
