About the role
- Provide QA input across all project phases, including technical design and development activities.
- Ensure that all testing and analyses are completed on-time, as required.
- Lead problem-solving sessions with development staff to address quality issues.
- Offer oversight and guidance to QA team members, ensuring project milestones are met in accordance with standards.
- Conduct audits and inspections to monitor quality standards on the production floor.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine quality assurance processes.
- Maintain documentation and ensure technical feasibility of new product features from development stages.
- Act as a technical expert within the domain, responsible for specifications and requirements documentation.
- Implement and manage continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of quality and excellence.
- Oversee the implementation and adherence to the Sensory Program
- Oversee testing and reporting on Food Safety and regulatory compliance and concerns about microbial management with actionable recommendations
- Follow established company Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality procedures and policies.
- Actively participate in Hazard Mitigation.
- Complete assigned Health & Safety trainings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Quality Management)
- Proven experience in a QA leadership role, preferably in a production environment
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with regulatory compliance and industry standards
