About the role
- Planning, coordinating, and executing smooth product installations, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction and seamless integration of systems.
- Calibrating systems to precise standards, identifying technical issues, and providing quick solutions in the field.
- Providing expert product knowledge and training to customers, ensuring they fully understand and can effectively use the systems.
- Troubleshooting complex issues, upgrading systems in the field, and acting as a liaison between customers, technical support, and our engineering teams.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to gather feedback, share technical insights, and contribute to future product developments.
- Expected to travel extensively throughout your assigned territory, with occasional international travel.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical systems.
- Knowledge in surfacing, coating, and finishing of optical lenses is highly preferred.
- At least 5 years of field engineering experience in the ophthalmic lens lab industry, including technical training in electro-mechanical machinery.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license, credit card, and passport (for international travel).
- Ability to lift and move boxes, parts, and assemblies up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in both standing and seated positions for extended periods.
