About the role

  • Architect and develop backend services, APIs, and integrations using Python.
  • Lead the design and implementation of automation workflows in n8n.
  • Define and enforce best practices for workflow automation, security, and scalability.
  • Integrate multiple third-party systems, APIs, and databases into seamless workflows.
  • Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of backend systems.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and deployment processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience with Python
  • 1+ years of professional experience using n8n for workflow automation and API integrations
  • Strong understanding of API development, webhooks, and data flow design
  • Solid experience with databases ( SQL and/or NoSQL)
  • Familiarity with Docker and cloud environments ( AWS, GCP, or Azure )
  • Proven ability to design scalable and secure backend systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, proactive mindset, and strong communication skills
  • Nice to Have: Frontend development experience
