About the role
- Leads and directs a group of claim professionals in a fast-paced Employment, Private and Not-For-Profit D&O and Fiduciary team
- Responsible for delivering superior business results through efficient and proper claim file execution
- Ensures customer satisfaction by holding team accountable to deliver high quality and timely claim service
- Uses data analytics to monitor team(s) performance and develops strategies to drive operational effectiveness
- Oversees compliance with state/local regulatory requirements and remains current on commercial insurance laws, regulations or trends for line of business
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree; JD degree preferred
- Typically a minimum of ten years of related work experience, with one to three years of management experience preferred
- Advanced technical expertise in Private D&O, EPL and Fiduciary matters
- Ability to effectively recruit, lead, coach, develop and retain talented claim professional and/or managers
- Excellent communication skills and customer service experience,
- Thorough knowledge of the insurance industry and the organization's products, policies and procedures.
